To answer your question, this karaoke machine includes updated technology such as Wi-Fi and Bluetooth technology. This model does not use cassette tapes nor music/karaoke CDs. The machine includes Singing Machine Karaoke Streaming App pre-installed along with other music apps you are sure to enjoy, as well as the YouTube Web Browser. The Singing Machine Karaoke App give you a true karaoke experience and has over 100k+ karaoke videos with unlimited streaming (App subscription required). The Singing Machine karaoke app videos all include word high-lighting and word scrolling as you are singing. If you choose to use the other pre-installed music apps or the YouTube Web Browser, depending on the videos you select to play, will determine if the words will appear on the screen...
