I have done both and not had a problem. I more so use an adapter to charge them, honestly. I think for most chargeable batteries, letting them die and then charging them back up is the best way to keep the battery life going longer.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Any USB charger or computer will work. I plug mine into my laptop when I'm not using it. I love these headphones. I use them on bluetooth for my Samsung TV and also wired for my old stamp sized ipod. They have a very long battery life.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Use a dedicated charger. This way your charge flow does not vary and your port will last longer. Charge it every night when you go to sleep. So you will have full charge when you start your day.
