“With the ANC on, if you press on the headphones from either side, it makes a loud screeching sound, if you don't press on them it doesn't do this and with the ANC off if you press on them it won't do that. Is this normal or should I return them?”

• The same thing happens to me, but only when noise cancelling is on. Noise cancellation works by studying the ambient noise and then generating the opposite sound wave, so when you press it maybe your headphones are trying to cancel the sound.

• Tough question. Is the screeching sound high pitched? Because when I rub my fingers over the microphone holes I hear noise, but it isn't that loud and it's low pitched. If it's high pitched and happens when you aren't just touching the holes you might want to return them.
