They have 3 EQ settings. You might hit but I doubt bang. They hold in ear very well.

These earbuds have several modes - Podcast, Movie, and Music. They also have an ambient feature which essentially turns off noise-canceling. I love bass-filled music and in my opinion, the bass is great - especially in Music mode!
