How far away from your phone can you be before these start to cut out and/or disconnect? null

Not far at all. I had my phone on the hood on my car, and when I walked around to the back of the car they started cutting out. Granted my car was between us, but unless you always plan on being in direct line of sight, I would plan on keeping your source close to your buds.

I can walk around a 1200 SF apartment without interruption.

Short answer: These have the best range out of anything I have had. Long answer: I live in a 2/2 apartment. With my phone in my bedroom, I can wander around anywhere in the apartment without an issue. They cut out as soon as I go outside. In my case, it is about 25 feet plus an interior and an exterior wall before they lose signal.

I found the stay connected well close to the device. It appears the connection starts to get lost around 25 - 30 feet away from the device.

I've gotten 20-25 feet away with my phone in the living room and me in a room with 3 walls in between.
