Do they auto connect when you open them? null

On an iPhone they turn on and connect as soon as you take them out of their case , I am not sure how they function with android phones/devices

Yes. As soon as they are on and in your ears they connect to whatever devise you had them paired to last.

It is when you pull them out of the charge case. The right joins to your device and the left connects to the right. Only the right can be used in single mode.

I had to look up how to initially connect on the skullcandy website/ troubleshooting. Once they are connected, they connect every time you remove them from the case.
