• Yes they come with a mic. It’s function buttons on the side for volume and track skip back/forward. Haven’t tried it with google assistant but I’m sure it does.

• Yes. The microphone is built into the bit of fatness on the left ear wire. I've never had complaints from people I've talked to even in noisy environment (good background removal).
