• Make sure you haven't 'muted' your microphone. Rectangle on cord is mic, if you 'click' it it will mute the mic.

• Hello! The mic should work so that people hear you on their end. Did you just get these? If so they should fall under BestBuy's warranty policy. If they do not you can warranty them directly through Skullcandy.com Best, -SKDY
