I think the bass and treble in these earbuds is amazing! I listened to the "300 Violin Orchestra" by John Quintero and the bass rumbled and the treble was rich! These are awesome imho.

Terrible base on this, returning for a different product. For comparison purposes, the Apple (Lightning port) headphones have a way better base.

I find that there is actually too much bass for my taste (I have gotten used to it though) but I think to most it would be a good amount, as I generally prefer less bass than most people. I would compare them to Beats by Dre as far as bass bias. I imagine that you would find the other frequencies well balanced unless you're used to listening to vinyl. I would definitely not characterise the treble as harsh though in any case.

The bass is very good thats one thing skullcandy is known for. As for the treble it is not louder than the bass nor does is over power it i think you will be satisfied with em.

In the beginning of "Bring Me to Life" by Evenasence, there is a bass hit that tend to be missed on most headphones and speakers unless there is a bass driver. I was able to hear it enough for it to sound good. It didn't rattle my head, but it was pleasant enough to sound good. I am pleased with the sound produced for the price. It's not Bose level sound, but you are not paying the Bose price either.

I think the sound is pretty flat. It isn't bass heavy nor is the treble piercing.
