The left one is the primary and the right one is the secondary. The primary (left) can be used by itself. The secondary one (right) can only pair to the primary one (left) and can not be used by itself. This is typical for all brands of "True Wireless'' in the ear headphones such as these.

It depends the left one is like the control center so if just that one then yes as the right doesnt pair to your phone more along the lines of it pairs ti the left to split the sound so to answer it technically but only the left one

If you only want to use 1 at a time you can only use the left one. The left one connect to your phone and the right one connect to the other one by bluetooth
