We have had the Sodastream about 2 weeks, use it a lot, and haven't replaced the cylinder yet. A new cylinder is about $30, however it is only $15 when you exchange an empty cylinder.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, it will need to be replaced, eventually, but I haven't replaced mine yet. I use just two pumps for a full bottle of water. As far as I know, it is like propane, you take your empty cylinder, and just pay for the CO2

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Best Buy charges $15 for just the cylinder trade in or $30 for new cylinder with no trade in. Not sure how many times before it is empty . It depends how much of the fizz you want and how times you make it.
