Hey there, fatfrank! Thank you for asking about Geek Squad remote services. This particular service is a one time job that carries our 30 day workmanship warranty. We would need to be able to connect remotely, however, and at that point it seems like that may not be possible. I wouldn't recommend shutting the computer off during this operation, so it may be better if we visited you in person.
