I live some where where there is no towers and my phone doesn’t work at all for about 8 mile would this work null

No it will not. It does use cell service. If you are in a dead zone for all cell phone service than this will not be able to get the signal also.

It uses multiple cell providers to build wifi signal. So if your carrier doesn't work but another carrier does you can place calls over wifi.

It should work. I used it on a rooftop pool in Tulum Mexico. It was a bit slow getting started but it worked.
