Yes to all your questions. It’s very roomy inside with 2 nice size zippered pockets on the outside plus a large zippered pocket on the backside where the straps to the backpack can be stored.

Yes it has a pocket inside the large zipper portion that fits my Chromebook (12in) perfectly but it has enough room to fit most laptop. It has plenty of room to fit school supplies, notebooks, folder, and whatever else you might need.
