“I would like to know if this hybrid briefcase/backpack water-proof? I'm in college and I carry my lab top sometimes. I had a really good waterproof book bag that lasted several years but now it needs replacing. I've searched several different locations”

This backpack/soft briefcase is not waterproof; however, spraying the bag with a water repellent solution will improve its protection from H2O.

(Take this bag EVERYWHERE) The bag did pretty well. Not a torrential downpour but wet enough for you to say "Why am I out in this weather?"
