Yes, I added a pair of speakers to this system.

Please try again later.I don't think you can, it has the output for the 2 speakers it comes with and a sub woofer, although you need a transmitter for the subwoofer unless you want it wired which would defeat the whole hidden behind the TV purpose. It does however sound very good and look very good, the speaker covers are paintable but I liked them white. I was very pleased with the product and would recommend it, but keep in mind you will be giving up surround sound and settling for stereo. But the big bonus in my opinion is that you can use the regular remote control to control the volume, you don't need an external remote for the receiver. It was pretty easy to set up, you do have to drop your speaker wired from the attic. I have enclosed pictures of my setup.
