Hi, Thanks for your question. The MAG5.1 Premium would provide you a step up in performance. The 5.1 Premium system includes three front LCR (Left, Center, Right) speakers, two MAG6R SUR surround speakers, a wireless transmitter and receiver kit for the subwoofer, and the MS10 (10" powered sub.) The MAG5.1R has three MAG6R speakers, two MAG6R SUR surround speakers, and an 8" powered sub. The LCR speakers, the wireless transmitter and receiver kit, and the MS10 subwoofer provide the step up in performance. I hope you found this information helpful.
