“Will this and the speakers fit in 2x4 walls? I think the speakers are 3 and 9/16 inches deep. With 1/2 inch drywall, this would leave 7/16 inches of space.”

HI, When installed on the back of the speaker, the depth of the speaker with the enclosure is 4". I hope you found this information helpful.
