“Is any additional hardware required to make the speaker swivel for final placement? Essentially, I am asking is the speaker in a fixed position with no movement when using this round surface mount piece?”

Hi, Thanks for your question. If using our satellite speakers, the swivel adjustment (elbow) is on the speaker. Keep in mind not all of our satellite speakers have an adjusting elbow feature, and I'm not aware of any after-market device that you could add that would make the speaker fully pivot.
