Hi, Thank you for your question. The "SUB" connection on the back of the Sonos Amp is intended for products like a powered subwoofer. The Garden Series subwoofer does not have an internal amplifier so connecting the sub to that port directly will not work. We would be happy to help you add a subwoofer to your system.
