Hard one. I have the arc and the beam 2 with the big sub for the arc. The arc alone has great bass on its own. If your a person that enjoys dedication bass, the beam with sub mini will work fine for your budget. If you can get the arc and get the larger sub in the future that combination will make you smile everytime.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Dialog issues are a problem for many, myself included. I have a really high-end surround system, and still have dialog problems on occasion. I have not heard the Beam and Arc side by side. But I would guess the Arc will give you more flexibility, volume etc. You could spend your budget on the Arc now, then add a sub later, for the best of both. If I had to choose, I would error on the side of dialog over added bass.
