Just recently bought a Playbar but could still exchange. Is the Beam just as good (or better) for less money? null

not quite the bass punch as the higher priced sonos sound bars, and quite a bit more compact, but its also 300 bucks less..

Beam isn't as loud as Playbar. It's meant for small to mid-sized rooms. If you have a smaller sized room and are looking for more Voice Assistant functionality, Beam is a great option for you. But if you have a larger open space, sound wise, Playbar is going to have a better quality and louder sound + more bass (unless you have a sub cause then it doesn't matter).

It's not better than the larger soundbar. It's definitely cheaper and still has great sound. Depends on the size of the room you're putting this in. If it's a large room I would stay with what you have.
