A:Answer Hi Andrew, this unfortunately is not possible strictly with two play 5s. I looked long and hard for that same answer myself (also own two play 5s). What you would need is either a Playbar/Beam/Playbase that has HDMI Arc or optical connections in order to connect to your TV. I believe you could also use the new Sonos Port which has the white/red audit component connections, but I’d give Sonos a call to confirm on the port as I don’t own one of those. While it’s a bummer, on the plus side if you do end up getting a beam/playbase/Playbar and use your Play 5s as surround speakers, boy that does sound fantastic!
