“I own a Sonos Play 1. I got it Jan 2018 to try out Sonos. I don’t use it for music much ‘cuz I need more sound “umph”. I don’t have a sound bar. (future buy). Should I get another S1 & a sub or get a 5 (or possibly two). Room is large/open”

• don't have a 1, but have 2 Sonos 3 and 2 Sonos 5. The sonos 5 can really fill a room with sound!

• Get a pair of Fives and a sub if budget is not a constraint. Its absolutely amazing....otherwise a pair of Fives is loud and room filling even without the sub with enough bass...
