Can the voice assist be disabled in the Gen2? null

Yes, Alexa can be turned off easily. On the top of the Sonos - One (Gen2) unit there is a light to show when Alexa is on. I can turn her off, simply by touching the light and it turns the voice activated feature off.

During set up. I did not activate the voice option

Yes, it can on all Sonos speakers.
