Yes, if you add it as an additional room. I have one next to my couch and one in my kitchen. Just add the rooms in when you want them activated and then cut it off when you don’t want them playing. But, the main volume control for your sound bar will not control the speakers volume. To control the volume use the app or then buttons on top of the speaker. Hope this answers your question.
