Yes you can do this, but it is not something you would do that often. You would have to 'break' the stereo pair and then assign one of the speakers to a new defined room.If you do not have a stereo pair defined then you could move one of the speakers anywhere you want at any time without worrying about telling the system what room the speaker 'belongs' to, but you would not have a stereo pair created. Each speaker would be on its own.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Based on my experience with the players, these scenarios would be mutually exclusive. The limiting factor would not be the wireless home network, but would not be possible to maintain multiple player configurations using the Sonos controller app.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I've changed the position/setup of the speaker several times. I had one that I used in my bedroom, but moved it to the living room when I invested in the surround sound system. I had to reconfigure the speaker which was very easy and took a couple minutes.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No. no matter where you move the speakers they will act as they were 1st assigned. you would have to re-setup the sonos system.
