You can play MUSIC through the Sonos wireless speaker from an Echo Dot using Alexa, but NOT MSNBC, CNN, ESPN, etc. In other words it won't play "spoken" content, only music, so if you're buying it to pair with an Alexa device just know that it will play music only. I'm selling mine because I wanted a speaker in the bedroom for BOTH music and listening to news and sports stations.... This product won't do that.

Sonos will not group together or provide stereo sets. The sonos does have bluetooth but it is only for use during setup with a mobile device. I personally had echos all through my house. Sounded great and they were cheap. I bought a Beam and 2 sonos's plays for my patio and am very happy with them.

The Echo will work to use voice control, but it won’t pair to make a stereo setup or anything like that. You enable the Sonos skill in the Alexa app.

Amazon Echo uses Bluetooth. Sonos uses Wi-Fi. They cannot be paired. The Sonos One does have Alexa built-in if you're looking for Alexa capabilities.
