Why is the wattage not included in the specs? null

Because wattage isn't everything. This speaker plays so well, the last thing you'll be wondering is how many watts it has, instead you'll be asking how can all of that sound come from that speaker???

Thats good question. I think because it is a part of a system. Maybe because it has a bunch of other electronics in it. This uses a wifi signal, and an amp and a speaker, so it may not be an easy question to answer. I would suggest it sounds as loud as a 200-300 watt speaker. Dont forget you can go to the store to hear it.
