• The playbar can be linked to your tv remote during set up. No other remote needed.

• No, this can work with your TV remote if hooked up with the optical cable. You can also control this with your mobile device through the Sonos app.

• Great question! Yes, but not a special remote. The Beam has built in IR, so you can use the remote your TV comes with. It also supports CEC control so many tv's will automatically teach the Beam the codes it needs. If you're not using HDMI for CEC control, it's very easy to teach the Beam any IR remote you'd like in our app under settings -> system -> room name of Beam -> Remote control set up. You can also use our app to change the volume as well.
