• Hi, and thank you for your question! It's a great one! Yes, the mics can be turned off, and if you never set up the voice assistant, the mic never turns on. All of our speakers have a microphone button that easily allows you to do this. For extra assurance, we hardwired the power for the microphone light directly to the power for the button. This means "light is off, mic is off" ... no way around it!
