Locate on the wall where you want to mount the soundbar. If you can find a stud, that would help with securing one side for weight purposes but isn't necessary. Once you located where you want to mount it, I used the blue painters tape & placed it on the back of the mounting bracket to mark the mounting hole(s) locations on the tape. Then I removed the tape & placed it on the wall as a template & you can also use the straight edge of the tape with a level to level the holes for the bracket. Then mark your holes on the wall. Make your holes & use mollies & screws if necessary to mount the bracket. Hopefully this helps.
