I suggest visiting a Best Buy if you can to see and hear the difference. When I saw the difference between the Sony and LG anti-glare coating I was sold. And then listening to the sound that comes standard on the Sony -- there was no contest. The photo and video stuff they have going in the store is annoying, but if you find the right staff member, they can show you 4K YouTube videos and really see the difference. Sony video processing is remarkable.

In limited Best Buy stores there will be a Sony Experience within the Home Theater department where you can experience a variety of demonstrations for picture, sound, and user experience for the Sony BRAVIA XR 42A90K, among numerous other Sony TVs. If you wish to visit a Sony Experience location, you can go to Best Buy.com, search by stores locations, and select “Filter by services”, then select “Sony Experience”. Hope this helps. Erin
