Morning ... Don't quote me on this, but I believe you have to get a different set of patch cords. Sorry I still use the term patch cords ... this set uses RCA connectors on your L & R Video out, as well as a single Audio out from your VCR-DVD player. It has a USB connector on the other end to patch into you TV. I also believe since this is a "Smart TV" it will automatically recognize you have something "new" connected. However, you may still need your remote to change to that USB input when you wish to use your VCR-DVD player. And I believe you can rename that input to identify at a glance.
