“I currently have a 48 inch Sony attached to one of those floor stands where TV is attached to brackets on stand. Would such a stand hold a 49 inch Sony tv ...most floor tv stands attached with a bracket to back of tv can hold several size tv's, correct??”

My 49” Sony sits on a 48” wide stand and the tv has 4 inches on both sides. It looks very nice. I think the stand should be at least 48” so the tv doesn’t overpower stand. Just a thought and hope this helps. Jerry
