“I have a surround system with 5 speakers and sub woofer and will be streaming with this TV and want to know if the SonySTRDH590 5.2 CH 4K HDR receiver is compatible with this TV for my Surround sound speakers and will I need an Optical cord for sound ?”

My system goes from cable box to receiver then to TV. Surround sound system works fine for me with just the HDMI cable. Another Sony TV with Sony receiver that we have had to have an optic cable to the TV for it to work.
