You can redeem the Playstation Store Credit Giftcard for the face value on the front of the card in your playstation account, then turnaround and apply your credit towards the Playstation Plus service online in the Playstation Store. You can purchase anything in the store with credit from your wallet including games, movies, shows, dlc's, PS Plus.
