“How is the sound”

• The sound is decent by itself, better than our last tv which was a 5 yr. old LG. We do use a soundbar with it so it's not really an issue.

• With only one or two viewers present, we normally simply use the speakers within the unit, but if we want additional volume or effect for a movie, we can use a surround sound system that we have hooked up to the tv. The tv speakers are quite good by themselves.

• A little on the quiet side. I am shopping for a sound bar but I suppose its not a necessity. I just don't like my TV up to 65 to watch a movie.
