“Is closed captioning easily available because my 8 yr. old remote needs 12 clicks to both activate and deactivate CC. Also, is CC available on Netflix?”

Netflix Closed Captioning is separate from a television's Closed Captioning. When viewing a movie or show on Netflix, there is an icon on the bottom right hand side you can click. It will tell you if Closed Captioning is available for the movie/show you are viewing.

Yes it is. You don't need 12 clicks, there's a hot button on the remote to activate and deactivate closed captioning.

Yes, there is a button on the remote dedicated to SUBTITLE CC.
