• Hi David, Thanks for your question. The TV cannot output sound from both the Bluetooth audio device and the TV speakers at the same time. Doing this will cancel the TV speakers from being used. To output sound from both the TV speakers and your external audio device: Connect your external audio device to the digital optical port of your TV using a digital optical cable (not supplied). Note: If you connect your external audio device to the TV headphone jack, the HDMI ports, or through a Bluetooth connection, the TV can't output sound from both the TV speakers and the audio device at the same time. • I haven’t tried it but in other Sony tv’s you can. You have to turn the volume off on the tv separately.
