No they added subwoofers in the middle so you can put the legs in how they're supposed to be on the outer edges they just slide in and click in and you can pull them out also. But you cannot put them in the middle because you'll notice there's two holes circle holes those are base ports and that was to enhance the sound of the TV
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi Nikon50, If you are asking of the legs can be used as wall-mount bracket, no. Our Bravia XR-55X90J supports any VESA-complaint wall-mount bracket with a hole pitch of 11.81 x 11.81 inch (300 x 300 mm) or use the compatible Sony SU-WL855 wall-mount bracket. You have to remove the legs to mount the TV. The width of the stand (legs) of this unit is approximately 41.77 inch (1,061 mm) (1-way stand). For more details on how to mount this TV, please visit this link: https://www.sony.com/electronics/support/res/manuals/5024/f0842a0b0390d8b2889fcac655259bab/50249421M.pdf (pg 3). Thank you for your inquiry and I hope this helps! Vincent
