Just buy a QLED instead. They come out of the box pre calibrated and get much brighter than this set.

Our Bravia XR-55X90J has an ambient light sensor feature that automatically adjusts the brightness and color of the picture based on the surrounding ambient light. If your room is too bright, check out our X95J that has the X-Anti Reflection feature that reduces glare caused by sun or lamp light so you can see pure blacks in brightness and enjoy clear pictures without distraction.
