“Can I cast from my iphone onto the tv directly? I do not mean Casting via chromecast. I mean casting videos from the iphone which usually requires an external apple tv device.Would it be possible on this model without the externally attached apple tv?”

• No, this TV does not support Airplay for Apple devices. The newest generation Samsung TVs have Airplay if you are looking for something that will not require an Apple TV
