Hi Terry, Thanks for reaching out to us. It's unfortunate that you encountered sound issues with your TV. Please allow us to help you and turn this into a better experience. We would like to know more about the situation you faced with the TV. Are you getting no sound using the built-in speakers or using the external speakers? Some of these issues can be fixed by simply restarting the TV. To do that, simply press the power button for about 5-10 secs while the TV is on. In the meantime, follow this procedure if the TV speakers don't produce sound or sound skips. Check the TV speakers after each step. 1. If you are using the TV built-in speaker, make sure the sound output is set to TV speakers and not Audio system Press the Quick Settings (gear icon) button, then select [Speakers] — [TV speakers]. 2. Check the volume control. 3. Press MUTING or MUTE or VOL or (Volume) + button to cancel muting. 4. If headphones or Bluetooth audio devices are connected, sound is not output from the TV speakers or audio system connected via eARC/ARC. Remove the headphones or disconnect the Bluetooth audio device.
