My last LG TV would lose the sound and I looked Up on you tube how to reset it. You just turn it off and hold the power button for 3-5 seconds. Sometimes it took a second try and a few times I had to turn it off and unplug it for a few seconds. Then turn it on holding the power button down for a few seconds.
