No anti-glare properties with this screen. You could try a film, but my opinion is that this is not outdoor suitable.

Yes, the X80K includes a light sensor that optimizes picture brightness to room conditions, boosting brightness in light rooms and reducing it in dark ones so you get the perfect view. With regard to your second question, you can place the TV in a covered patio as long as the screen is not exposed to direct illumination or sunlight to get the best picture quality. The TV is intended to be operated indoors. Exposing the TV to rain or moisture, direct illumination, or sunlight may cause damage. For safety reasons and to prevent the TV from malfunctioning its recommended operating temperature is: 0 ºC – 40 ºC / 32˚F - 104˚F. We also recommend our X95J (75/85" class) and Z9J (75/85" class) that features X-WIDE ANGLE & X-ANTI REFLECTION. With these TVs, every seat in the room is now the best seat in the room with enhanced viewing angles that preserve color when watching from the side and an anti-reflective screen that reduces glare in bright rooms. Enjoy an intuitive smart TV experience with natural color and clear sound with the BRAVIA X80K LED TV. The powerful 4K HDR Processor X1 reduces digital noise and boosts details for lifelike picture quality. Google TV gives you access to all your favorite streaming apps, while Google Assistant easily searches for content and controls your smart home simply by using your voice. Hope this helps! - Kris
