Hi Googlesucks, Thank you for your inquiry! You can use this TV without logging in to a Google account. You can access the TV's settings, Bravia features and use some of the pre-installed apps such as Netflix even without a Google account. You will be asked to sign in when accessing Google Play Store app, rent or buy movies, TV shows, or using certain Google-specific services. Connecting third-party media players such as Roku is optional and works well with the TV. I hope this helps! Vincent

You should be able to use your Roku. I disabled all the Smart settings on mine and did not give permission for them to track me. I just use my Fire Stick, and it works just fine.
