Hi Becky, We regret to hear that your new Sony Bravia TV does have sound. This is usually not the case with our TVs. Please check the volume control of the TV. Press MUTE or VOL or (Volume) button to cancel muting, if the TV is muted. If you are just using the TV speakers, make sure the TV speaker is set correctly: Press the (GEAR icon) button on the remote control, then select [Settings] — [Display & Sound] — [Audio output] — [Speakers] — [TV speakers]. If headphones or Bluetooth audio devices are connected, sound is not output from the TV speakers or audio system connected via eARC/ARC. Remove the headphones or disconnect the Bluetooth audio device.
