Hi Bogey, Thank you for your inquiry! When it comes to viewing angles, you may find that they are highly comparable across different models. However, what truly sets our latest offerings apart is the remarkable improvement in overall picture quality. This enhancement is largely attributed to the incorporation of our latest XR processor, which optimizes the visual experience by delivering stunning clarity and detail. Additionally, our use of Mini LED and QLED technology significantly boosts contrast levels, resulting in deeper blacks and brighter highlights. Our advanced XR Backlight Master Drive™ controls thousands of Mini LEDs with absolute precision to deliver extreme brightness. The QLED panel, reinforced by XR Triluminos Pro™, enhances the range of hues and saturation, revealing extremely precise color in every scene and makes skin tones look completely natural. Moreover, BRAVIA is equipped with Studio Calibrated modes that reproduce the image quality intended by film content creators in a home setting. In addition to the existing established Netflix Adaptive Calibrated Mode and SONY PICTURES CORE (formerly BRAVIA CORE) Calibrated Mode, Prime Video Calibrated Mode is a new mode designed to provide customers with even more ways to experience premium entertainment through the lens of the creator. In summary, while the viewing angles may be similar, the overall picture quality is elevated to new heights with our latest advancements in technology. Experience the difference for yourself and elevate your home entertainment setup today! Regards, Jess
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Jess thanks for the quick answer to my question. I went back to the store to compare and it is clear that the QLED augmentation of the Bravia 7 produces significantly more detailed off-axis viewing. I believe this is well worth the $500 difference over the lifespan of the TV. Thanks again for your help! Bogey
