You are right, this TV doesn’t come with a steering wheel. It doesn’t have good mileage and there are no seats as well, so you will just have to sit on the edge on the TV which will be very uncomfortable given the TV is extremely thin. Go ahead with the Civic.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Its funny you mention price as an issue. It really came in way less than the projected price tag of 10,300 that I was quoted by BBY rep who had discussed prices on 2019 models back in April. As is, at 7k, it MATCHES the LG 77C9 price and this set beats it head to head quite substantially, in every catagory, except for perhaps Brightness levels as some LG OLED users are reporting. Hope this helps you decide...I would take a high end OLED over any car purchase. The TV will bring you WAY MORE JOY on a daily basis, and unlike a vehicle, its maintenance FREE ! Try it on for size, my guess is you will not be returning it, once you play a few 4K HDR Ultra blu-ray movies. With this media, this set is out of this world, best 4k set on the planet. !! You will not miss the civic, beleive me...I still drive a 1998 Nissan ALtima...while in the mean time I upgraded all my sets to high end 4k LED/OLED and I have no regrets !
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No -Brainer get the tv you wont regret it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Only you can answer the question regarding value. For me it was a no-brainer and I love the 77A9G. Are there alternatives? Absolutely. The Samsung Q90R springs to mind, but OLED is simply stunning to behold.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I felt it was. I would probably spend more time with this than a Honda Civic and I don't have to put gas or insurance in cost over time. If you want the best 4K picture quality for the time you spend with movies, sports, or TV series, this unit is it and is better quality at a price thousands less than the previous model.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Frankly, a Triumph Street Triple RS is more fun than either (albeit more expensive). But I also bought the Sony XBR77A9G and enjoy it when I'm not riding. BTW, a later model, used Civic Si with the 6 speed manual will probably be much superior than a 2005 Civic (albeit more expensive, but still relatively affordable). Pay for what you value, be it an apple or an orange, TV or car.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. For me, a cinematic viewing experience is worth the price of a Honda Civic. My leisure time is home watching tv. My automobile is for getting to and from work. I am not much of a car guy though so I can see how some others would think differently
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If your comparing it to the value of a car; then this OLED TV is not for you! This TV is an Videophiles dream! Personally it has the best picture quality & the upscaling from the X1 ultimate is the best currently! IT PAYS TO HAVE THE BEST.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. To what's being discussed, they have to discount the LG pretty substantially to compete, as buying the Sony over the LG is a no brainer. Sony is big in the movie business and they manufacturer some of the best film cameras in the world. In fact I believe they are the industry standard, so transferring technology to the consumer TV segment is pretty lock step. While the picture is probably the same, the processing on the Sony is much better, while LG's leaves a lot to be desired. For example LG from what I've been able to determine compresses their audio signal through ARC to PCM, rendering a good 5.1 almost useless. For this reason alone I can't do the LG. There also seems to be a lot of issues with audio delay and ARC not working correctly. It's also a matter of WebOS vs. Android. I'm a pretty meat and potatoes guy who likes the more basic Android centric approach, which recently went through a major upgrade. They (Sony) also included a Director's cut Netflix app, which gives you the upgraded Dolby Atmos sound. It's the golden rule of life- you get what you pay for. The Sony just flat out works- no issues with ARC, etc.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.that's entirely up to the buyer. which do you need more?
